Duration of the Course: Five days tuition, six nights and includes accommodation Times: These are full-time programmes. You will be notified of the full-programme schedule upon arrival. Course Objectives: During this course you will experience true and authentic Spain and the Mediterranean. You will mix with locals, drink in their bars and converse in Spanish during shopping visits to the market (don't worry we provide a crash-course in Spanish language in the culinary school before-hand!). In addition, your week stay will centre around how to prepare a variety of Mediterranean dishes, with special emphasis on healthy eating. You will visit Bodegas, and cook for a celebrity chef. The days will start at the basic level of choosing the produce, cleaning and preparation through to final food/plate presentation. The course will include hands-on personal tuition from a qualified chef. Recipes will include a wide range of Mediterranean dishes, as well as a few traditional Spanish dishes from this part of the world. Recipes will include a range of meat, poultry, fish, seafood and vegetarian dishes. Suitability: This intermediate course is suitable for those with a little experience of cooking, and is open to men and women.
