| Charming peaceful accommodation at the top of Mojacar village |

The rooms There are five double rooms with shower or full bath. Each room is unique, with a mix of contemporary and antique furniture and works by well-known artists who have come to Mojacar to paint. All are corner rooms with views of sea or mountains and direct access to terraces, pool and central garden. All rooms have air-conditioning and free internet access via Wifi. The large master bedroom, Almanzora, has a king-sized bed plus sofa-bed for two. The Suite - Cabrera y Macenas - is a favorite with families or four friends.
Levante (right) - A spacious room with views along the Mediterranean coast towards the Sierra Almagrera and the town of Aguilas. This room has a double bed and en suite shower room. Initial sketches made by the painter Alfonso Albacete in Mojacar have subsequently become canvases acquired by museums here and abroad. He and wife Marisa frequent el Castillo and stay in this room.
Filabres (left) - A cosy room with double bed and en suite shower room. There are great views over the rooftops of Mojacar village and the valley of the Rio Aguas towards Bedar and the Sierra Filabres. The landscape of Mojacar is by an unknown visitor in the 1960s.
Suite - Cabrera and Macenas are independent rooms, with their own entrances, sharing a full bathroom. Together they form the Suite, ideal for parents with children or four friends. Fernando Egozcue, composer and virtuoso guitarist, has given a number of concerts in the Salon. He stays here when on holiday with his family.

Macenas (left) - Twin-bedded room with windows facing south-east over the Mediterranean coast towards the beaches of Macenas and the Cabo de Gata national park. Canvas by Rafael Santana Monagas, of Madrid and the Canaries, painted while visiting.
Almanzora (below) - This eagle's nest has spectacular views from three sides over the whole of the Almanzora Valley. It is a very spacious room with a king-size double bed and en-suite bathroom. There is a double sofa-bed and a small fridge.The naive landscape was painted here in the village by the American Sarah McKim Valentine. Writers appreciate the large writing desk. They can work in peace while the family plays by the pool below.
